Whispering Pines Furniture strives to make every interaction a positive experience. We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of the products we offer to our customers, and we will do our best to address any concerns you may have if you are not completely satisfied.
Exclusions
This return policy has several exclusions, such as clearance items, discontinued items, and personalized engraved merchandise. Unfinished furniture or furniture refinished by the customer cannot be returned and is not warrantied. Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. Christmas season items cannot be returned after December 25th. Christmas items purchased after December 25th are final sales and cannot be returned. Damaged, altered, or abused merchandise cannot be returned. Refunds and exchanges will not be given without a receipt or proof of purchase. In-home delivery charges or outbound shipping charges are non-refundable items. In most cases any return shipping expense is the responsibility of the buyer.
Non-Furniture Items (30 Days)
Returns are accepted for non-furniture items within 30 days of purchase. In order to be eligible for a refund, the return must be completed within 30 days, along with a valid proof of purchase, and must be returned in the original packaging (if applicable) and in like-new condition. Whispering Pines reserves the right to reject a return request, or to issue only a partial refund if there is any evidence of damage. After 30 days, all sales are final and Whispering Pines has no obligation to accept returns.
Stock Furniture (7/30 Days)
Furniture bought off of the showroom floor may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. All returns will be inspected. The furniture must be in the same condition as purchased, with no damage, stain, or wear and tear. Whispering Pines reserves the right to reject a return request, or to issue only a partial refund if there is any evidence of damage. After 7 days, stock items may only be returned for store credit, and a restocking fee of 20% will be applied. All sales are considered final after 30 days, and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Standard Order Furniture (7 Days)
Standard order furniture, which was built-to-order based on the customers selections from standard options are only eligible for return within 7 days of the customer taking possession of the item. All returns will be inspected. This type of return is only eligible for store credit, and a standard 20% restocking fee will be applied.
The furniture must be in the same condition as purchased, with no damage, stain, or wear and tear. Whispering Pines reserves the right to reject a return request, or to issue only a partial refund if there is any evidence of damage. All sales are considered final after 7 days, and they are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Special Order Furniture (Final)
Whispering Pines does not accept returns for special order furniture that is built with customer specified modifications; including non-standard dimensions, wood species, fabrics, paint colors, or finish stains.
Form of Refund
Refunds will be issued in the original form of tender (cash refunds may be limited to $200, and any remaining balance will be refunded as a check by mail). If the refund cannot be refunded back to the original credit/debit card due to the card being expired, store credit will be issued instead.
